"My name is Luqman Abdi, and I love sharing stories and experiencing new things."

Operating out of the South Metro in Minneapolis, MN, I’m building this site to share the peace of a good night's rest with the world.

GoDream² was born out of love and a very real need. It started with me telling stories to my wife to help her mind settle and ensure she could finally go to rest. Seeing how much it helped her, I realized this method could help anyone who battles with sleep. The final spark to turn this into a real platform came from a random encounter with a passenger in my Uber a while back. After hearing my idea, they gave me the push I needed with two simple words: 'DO IT.'

While the stories span the globe, the heart of GoDream² belongs entirely to my wife.

This platform exists because of her. She was my very first listener, my daily inspiration, and my biggest supporter. Navigating life's challenges is easier knowing I have her in my corner, and finding ways to help her find peace and rest at the end of the day became the foundation of everything you hear on this site.

How to Master Sleep on the Fly

When building GoDream², we didn't just look at clinical studies. We conducted extensive research with the people who have to master sleep in the most difficult environments imaginable: international flight attendants. These professionals cross time zones weekly, sleeping in different beds, different cities, and different altitudes.

A massive shoutout to the incredible Delta Airlines flight attendants who fly the heavy route from MSP to AMS (Amsterdam) every week and back. Your advice and frontline experience have been absolutely crucial in shaping the GoDream² project.

Here are the three golden rules of rest from the experts who literally sleep on the fly:

Sleep While You Can

(Quality Over Quantity)

The best advice they give is to stop stressing about getting a perfect eight hours. If you have a window to rest, take it. Getting two clean, solid, deeply restful hours is far better for your body and mind than spending eight hours tossing, turning, and fighting the clock. GoDream² is designed to help you maximize whatever window of sleep you have.

Let the Body Lead the Mind

Sometimes the brain simply refuses to shut down. When that happens, you have to physically tire yourself out so the body forces the mind to follow. Flight attendants emphasize doing everything you can during your waking hours to physically exhaust yourself—whether that's getting extra steps in, walking to get groceries, or maintaining a physical routine. When the body is heavy, the mind surrenders faster.

The "Current Location" Mindset

When you are lying in bed, you have to mentally unpack your bags. Flight attendants stress the importance of clearing your mind and anchoring yourself to the exact place you are in right now. Do not let your thoughts drift off to what is happening elsewhere, what you left behind, or what awaits you tomorrow. Be present in the quiet of your room.
